Step Through Your Door
Some Paths Are Just For Us, Not Everyone Can Come.
A walk of faith for life is not an easy path to take.
By definition it implies acceptance for not having any certainty just the steps that are given to you, with no actual understanding to why things need to play out that way. So, you offer your trust and step through the door in front of you.
The irony of doors is that it’s typically designed for one person to go through at a time, gracefully. If you take others with you, the journey could become more resistant. We may want to trek the path with others but not everyone is meant to go with you. Some adventures are reserved just for us.
Those that will come may need you to step through the door first, so they can meet you on the other side of the threshold again.
One of my mentors Lisa Nichols use to say “You have to go through your door first, not everyone can come with you”.
Receiving a calling that’s yours, an idea that comes to mind spontaneously usually begins with one. For unknown reasons these callings are given to specific people in specific seasons.
The field itself isn’t easy. Most of the obstacles that we move through in bringing concepts into form aren’t even visible to the naked eye.
It’s all happening with the depths of our inner world combined with our moves in the outer. Playing in the conscious and subconscious mind, creating spaces to receive and move forward at the same time.
Some callings are easy to pick up and answer right away.
The day we answer the call and the day we experience the full completion of it, are not the same days.
I’m learning that living in devotion to what we choose and are given to do is best built with love and believing that your whole world can expand and transform in an instant all because you decided to pick up your call and dig in those boots one more day. That’s all it takes.
Pouring our heart into it on the challenging days are the most rewarding to build through.
Stepping through the threshold is the most anticipated and terrifying part. The path unfolds as we go, not as we think about it.
Developed momentum= fluid movement forward. It’s the only vehicle that will allow us to witness what’s been waiting for us this entire time.
What’s been building on the other side of your door?
That door speaks to us, and It asks
your most prosperous life
is on the other side
step through your door
always,
x amour
When I was starting this path of pursuing a life aligned with my truth, I knew that meant being willing to let go of most all things in my life at that time. I thought letting go was the hardest part but letting go is just the first part.
